Apostle Daniel Mbonchom denies indulging in extramarital affair, calls God for justice

Apostle Daniel Mbonchom, general overseer of Enlightened Church of Wonder International situated at Bois des Singe, Douala 2 Subdivision in the Littoral Region of Cameroon has refuted allegations of having an extramarital relationship with Vanessa Kim, a popular gospel singer in Douala.

In an exclusive interview with Mimi Mefo Info, the apostle says “My relationship with Venessa Kim is purely spiritual and professional. God in heaven is my witness”.

According to Apostle Daniel, claims by his wife Ashu Diana Ako, popularly known as Grace Prophetess, that he has an affair with Vanessa is false, unfounded and the handiwork of the devil to damage his dignity, personality, and the body of his church.

Questioned if his wife Ashu Diana Ako actually poured hot water on Vanessa Kim on Sunday the 20th of December 2020 at the Apostle’s Camp Yabassi residence in Douala, Apostle Daniel Mbonchom says “I did not witness the act because I was in the house and they were outside. But when I rushed out upon getting a loud desperate cry for help from Vanessa, I got my wife Ashu Diana Ako saying ‘this is just the beginning. By the time am done with you, this Douala will not contain the two of us’.This is what makes me believe that my wife actually poured hot water on Vanessa”.

Apostle Daniel says his wife, in four years of their marriage, has made several such allegations against him citing different women. “As a man of God, I understand that temptations as such will always be there. That is why I think my wife is sometimes controlled by an evil spirit. I pray God to change her”.

Ashu Diana Ako claims Vanessa Kim has had an affair with her husband, Apostle Daniel, claims the husband has denied.

To Ashu Diana Ako, Vanessa’s love affair with her husband has already been validated by the family of the apostle. To her, this explains the “open provocation” from Vanessa.

Venessa Kim on her part, is recovering from burns she sustained in the act. Apostle Daniel says he has spent over seven hundred thousand for the treatment, upkeep, and other expenses on Vanessa since the incident happened.

“I equally paid the sum of five hundred thousand francs at Nkouloulou police station in Douala to bail my wife arrested on accusation of attempted murder by pouring another woman with hot water. In all these, I have my faith intact that one day God will vindicate me,” Apostle Daniel stated.

To one Christian, such strong allegations are unfounded, as they know who their spiritual leader is. Our source added that, he thinks, “Ashu Diana’s should stand with her husband — and help build the house of God”.
