The number of persons battling to replace Mbigha Felix as President of the North West bureau of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT has narrowed to three.
Since the last FECAFOOT elections of December 11, 2021, in Yaounde where Mbigha Felix was elected into the Executive Committee of FECAFOOT, the text warrants him to resign as a delegate to the General Assembly.
When the FECAFOOT electoral commission headed by Magistrate Gilbert Shlick announced the vacancies, four persons applied and three were retained for the position.
Former referee, Jani Benedict, football manager Murum Divine and sports journalist Nji Nelson Chefor were retained to stand elections for the position. The fourth applicant whose application was rejected is a former delegate, Nchinda Charles.
To that effect, the extraordinary General Assembly meeting of FECAFOOT North West has been convened for Saturday, April 9. The gathering has only a one-point agenda being the election of a new FECAFOOT President for the North West.
