The president of the African Football Confederation, Patrice Mptsepe has warned Moroccan fans using laser lights during tonight’s game.
South Africa and the host country Morroco are expected to clash tonight at the finals of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
“We can’t allow lasers to be used, particularly when it’s directed to the eyes of the opposition player. It’s unacceptable, so we have to look at our rules.” stated Patrice Motsepe.
Cameroon was ousted from the tournament by the Falcons of Nigeria at the level of the quarter finals.
The outcome of tonight’s game will determine who amongst the two countries will lift the trophy.
