Tim Mark, a teacher in Bafousam, West Region of Cameroon is reportedly behind bars, accused of sexually harassing a pupil.
The class six teacher in a popular primary school in the town, MMI gathered, was arrested after the parent to one of his students alerted security forces.
“One of his pupils went home bleeding in the vagina. Quizzed by her parents, she opened up on the experience she had with the teacher,” a source tells us.
The little girl, the source went on, said the teacher had used his fingers to defile her on several occasions, before that fateful day when she bled.
“Informed of the situation,” our source added, “the parents took her to the hospital and it was confirmed…”
The school authorities are yet to make any statement on the incident.
