The Regional Hospital of Bafoussam has given ten days for the retrievement of some 15 corpses from the hospital’s mortuary.
The information is contained in a release by the Director of the Regional Hospital, Prof Enow Orock.
He stated that the said corpses will be made available to the competent authorities for burial, in case the families fail to present themselves themselves for identification and removal.
It is reported that the measure is in a bid to decongest the saturated mortuary of the Bafoussam Regional Hospital.
In the press release, Prof. Enow Orock “invites families, friends and acquaintances to identify them and proceed with the withdrawal within ten (10) days failing to do so, the bodies will be put at the disposal of the competent authorities for burial”.
Among the corpses only four were identified and the remaining 11, unidentified.
