The Catholic Church has begun a self-reflection program that entails getting faithful to air their views on various avenues for improvement. It is known as the Synodal process.
During the proceedings at the Bamenda Metropolitan Cathedral, the Archbishop, His Grace Andrew Nkea referred to the process as a platform for the Church to be selfly scrutinized.
His Grace Andrew Nkea disclosed that the reflection process is aimed at improving the reflection of the church in the community.
He says at times, people think they are doing the will of God but they are doing their things. The reason why everyone should say what they think about the church.
Views will be put together and forwarded to the National Episcopal Conference.
In the Archdiocese of Bamenda that currently has 52 parishes and over four hundred thousand Christians, the synodal process will last for three years.
