A man was arrested in Bamenda on Sunday, April 16, with body parts reportedly belonging to an Elections Cameroon official killed by Separatist fighters in January.
The police are said to have arrested the man with two arms from the body of Gilbert Yufola, Head of ELECAM Jakiri who was killed in Bamenda on January 18.
Reports say the suspect dug the grave at Catholic Cemetery Bayele, chopped both hands from the corpse, and vanished, leaving the grave open.
Alarmed the next morning, the police launched a manhunt for the culprit and caught him in Bamenda with the two hands in a bag.
He reportedly confessed he was paid by some men to deliver the two arms at 500,000 francs.
The suspect is under police custody as investigations continue towards tracking accomplices.
