Bamenda: Parents inconsolable after two teenagers go missing for four days

19-year-old Ndinka Desmond Ndum and 18-year-old Mbuli Carine Angum who live in Mile 2 Nkwen, Bamenda, were last seen on March 5th, 2023.

On that Wednesday morning, they left their home for school at the Progressive Comprehensive High School, to attend holiday classes.

But they have not returned since then, the mother of Desmond told MMI in tears.

“My son left the house for holiday classes. He is writing Advance Level (GCE) this year. His number has not been going through since he left the house,” Ndinka Mirabel, Desmond’s mother told MMI.

It remains unclear how Carine ended up with Desmond.

“They didn’t leave the house together. But Carine’s mother came to my house to look for her, while I was in panic. She left their home on Wednesday morning as well, and other classmates confirmed the two were seen together returning home after classes,” narrated Desmond’s mother.

But they never got home.

“Desmond is my only son, I have not stopped crying, please anyone with vital information regarding his whereabouts should reach out to me via these numbers: 670245877
663695584.

“I’m tired of crying, please help me find my son,” said Mirabel, mother of missing Desmond.
