City Mayor Paul Achombong says the gesture is to lighten the financial burden on the people given that the coronavirus pandemic has affected their businesses.

The city mayor called on Mayors of Bamenda 1, 2 and 3 to do same for traders in markets in their municipal to boost their economic activities.

As of this morning April 6th 2020, no coronavirus case has been recorded in the North West region. Despite this, authorities and the population have not relented efforts in fighting against the pandemic.
