The incident occured Saturday October 15, 2022 in Alahlie, mile 4 Nkwen Bamenda.

According to reports, the three armed men believed to be kidnappers invaded the neighborhood harassing locals.

“Three of them came to the quarter and shot dead an old man who owns a bar” an eye witness told MMI.

The population reportedly braved the odds and got hold of two metting mob justice after disarming them.

“Unfortunately for the armed men, the one with the gun could not reload fast after firing”, the witness went on adding that “a young man of about 19 took on him and disarmed him”

The population reportedly came out serving mob justice to two of them while one succeeded to escape .

But the drama was far from over.

“The third escaped and brought back about 20 more thugs who started shooting in the quarter randomly claiming they were amba fighters” our source said.
