A lady and her 5-month-old baby have been killed by a man in Nkeng Quarter Namoh, New Road in Bamenda 3 Subdivision.
The man whose identity wasn’t known entered the quarter in the evening of Sunday, May 30, asking after the house of the lady. Neighbors only got a loud cry from a nearby stream and when they came out, they realised the lady and her 5-month-old baby were lying dead in a nearby stream.
The killer was caught by the crowd. Security forces were called in and he was arrested.
An eye witness told us that, the man confessed that he was sent to come and do the act.
The husband of the lady wasn’t at home at the time of the barbaric act. The lady and her husband are from the West region of Cameroon. The killer is under police custody.
