Brenda Biya must return to her parents and ask for forgiveness – Opinion

An observer of Cameroon’s political scene has sent a message to the country’s first daughter, advising her to retrace her steps and ‘humbly’ return to her parents.

While reacting to a recent outburst from Brenda Biya, our source who is a friend of the Royal Family of Dubai and a friend to daughter Sheikha Latifa who ran away twice from the family said: “I feel very sorry for Brenda, her behaviour is not that which should be exhibited by a first daughter of a country.”

“She is only a child and my advice to her is to get back to her parents and ask for a pardon. Let her stay calm with her mother and friends,” he went on.

In a latest social media outing, Brenda Biya, first daughter of President Paul and Chantal Biya said: “I have made multiple attempts to end my own life after my own father, Paul Biya had questioned if I was still alive.”

Brenda went on to say she is tired of getting electrocuted every day. “Today will be my last day on earth. I’ve decided and I know no one will miss me,” Brenda added in the post that left many in shock.

But our source thinks Brenda had to “stop behaving the way she has been doing.”

“To my understanding, she is the only daughter of her parents and I will feel proud if she can calm down and be by her mother.”

“She could get into a business and I think she would occupy herself more. Her father is a very good investor and she can easily adjust to becoming one. In fact, she should first return to her parents; stay calm while putting her mind to doing business.”

“I am a friend of the Royal Family of Dubai and particularly, a friend to a daughter Sheikha Latifa who ran away twice from the family.”

The comparison between Brenda and the Arabian princess is quite telling, given that Cameroon is a Republic and not a monarchy, like Saudi Arabia.
