Reports say a lawyer, has been shot in Bwitingui area, in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon.
The victim whose name MMI got as Njuh Ivo was shot earlier today January 12th, 2022, as he was taking to kids to school.
Barrister Ivo was shot on the leg, as well as on the side of his stomach.
The assailants are not yet know. It is also unclear while the legal mind was targeted.
As of the time of this report, Njuh Ivo is said to be receiving treatments at the Buea regional hospital.
Several localities in the Buea area are said to have experienced severe gunshots on Wednesday with Muea being one of them.
