Bui: Military raid village, set houses, properties on fire

Members of the Cameroon military are reported to have raided the Nkii village in Oku, Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon.

Several houses, shops, and bikes were burned to ashes.

This happened on the eve of Christmas, MMI has learned.

“Villagers spent the day in fear, some are now without homes, while some are in hiding,” said a source.

Government soldiers have launched multiple attacks on villages and civilians in the English-speaking regions, as they continue to battle Separatists clamouring for an independent state called’Ambazonia’.
