Douala: Military officer beats wife, deforms face

A military officer working with the national navy is reported to have deformed his wife’s face after beating her up mercilessly in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

The officer left his wife battling for her life after beating her to stupor, a source told MMI.

The incident took place last weekend.

“It was thanks to the intervention of the victim’s relative, that her life was spared as she was immediately rushed to the hospital,” a source disclosed.

However, once at the hospital, another tragic incident will occured.

“The husband came from nowhere and took his wife away from the hospital bed,” Our source added.

The whereabouts of the couple is not known at the moment.

Family members have been restless as they intensify the search for the couple.
