SDF senator from Ngoketunjia, Senator Barrister Kemende Henry has donated a borehole water point to the population of GRA Alaatin 2 and other surrounding neighborhoods.

The borehole water point was officially handed over to the population by the senator Sunday, November 7, 2021, in a ceremony attended by the mayor of Bamenda I council, representative of North West governor, the Fon of Bamendakwe, and the population.

At the handing over ceremony, senator Kemende disclosed that it was because of the suffering he saw the people go through especially during the dry season to get water that he decided to carry out the project.

For the people of Ngoketunjia, his division of origin, senator Kemende said theirs is certainly coming their way and that he needed to solve the water crisis which was at his doorsteps.

On his part, the mayor of Bamenda I, Mbigha Felix appreciated the senator and called on other politicians to do the same stating that politics has no color.

The Fon of Bamendakwe, HRH Fon Forchesiri III made incantations and poured libation before the ribbon was cut to officially hand over the water point to the community.
