One of the 2018 presidential candidates in Cameroon, Cabral Libii says Elections Cameroon should give more time for candidates running for the 2020 twin elections in Cameroon to deposit their files.

Cabral has requested that the elections governing body adds fifteen more days for compilation of documents.

The leader of the Cameroon National Reconciliation Party, PCRN had announced plans to run for parliamentary election after failing to unseat 86-year old Paul Biya who has been in power for almost four decades. But it would appear, his not all his party member succeeded to meet the November 25 2019 deadline.

Cabral Libii who came third after Prof. Kamto with 6.28% exited the Univers party for the PCRN in 2019.

He has come under heavy criticisms for accepting to take part in the election amid poor electoral laws and armed conflict in Anglophone regions.

Kamto’s CRM, Kah Walla’s CPP, PAP have announced their non-participation citing mistrust of the entire electoral system.
