Cameroon has received an amount of 110 million from South Korea for the construction of boreholes in four villages in the center Region.
The donation was made on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, to Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of Economy.
The 200,000 dollars, or better still 110 million CFA, is to facilitate access to water in Ngali 2, Edzendouan, Lobo and Ebogo, all localities in the Center Region.
These boreholes with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters, connected to three standpipes extending up to 300 meters and each equipped with two taps, are expected to be completed within a period of one year.
“This donation from the Korean government is an expression of this country’s friendship, trust and commitment to the development of our country, both at the decentralized and central levels,” indicated Alamine Ousmane Mey.
It should be recalled that of recent, got F CFA3.685 billion for the construction and rehabilitation of water infrastructures in some localities like; Matomb and Ebebda.
