Cameroon Women’s Football League: Salary of players slashed from 100,000 FCFA to 50, 000 FCFA

The salary of Cameroon Women’s Football League players has been reduced from 100,000 FCFA to 50,000 FCFA.

The modification is contained in a communiqué signed by Blaise Djounang, Secretary of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) on December 23, 2022.

The communiqué, however, failed to establish the reasons for the sudden reduction of the salary of the Cameroon Women’s Football League.

The players will therefore be receiving 50, 000 FCFA monthly instead of a 100,000 FCFA, which was earlier promised to them by the Federation.
