Cameroon Vs Burundi AFCON Qualifier will decide the fate of Group C

Cameroon is in a good position to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast. The Indomitable Lions are currently in second place in Group C with 4 points, one point behind leaders Namibia. They have one match remaining, against Burundi on September 12 in Garoua.

There are two ways for Cameroon to qualify:

Win against Burundi: This would guarantee their qualification or a draw against Burundi with at least four goals scored. This would also be enough to qualify them.

The match against Burundi is a must-win for Cameroon. They have a strong squad, led by Vincent Aboubakar, who is the top scorer in the qualifiers.

Burundi is a tough team too. They have four points from all their already-played matches.

Cameroon is confident of winning the match against Burundi. However, they will need to be careful not to underestimate their opponents.

The match against Burundi is crucial for Cameroon’s hopes of qualifying for AFCON 2023. The Lions know that they need to win or draw with a high score in order to guarantee their place in the tournament.

Namibia is already up for the tournament since their last opponent was Kenya, which has unfortunately been eliminated from the competition.

Everything has been put in place for the indomitable Lions to win the match. Professional players have been brought in, and old issues have been settled just so every player is comfortable defending the honour of the country and getting a qualification for AFCON 2023.
