Nourane Foster, a renowned female MP of Cabral Libii’s
Cameroon voice Party for National Reconciliation has responded to online critics – by shutting down her Skincare businesses across the country.
This action was the latest in the string of events following from the launch of a skin product, which claimed that women (customers) who drank it would be able to develop lighter and well-nourished skin.
Nourane Foster, who is one of Cameroon’s youngest MPs (34 years) today announced via her Facebook page that: “10 years of dreams, 10 years of hope, 10 years of innovation, 10 years of inspiration and courage.”
She went on to say: “The path ends here. I officially announce the closure of all Nourishka Agencies in Cameroon. The political-media cabal got the better of us.”
“Thank you to everyone who would have liked to be allowed at least to say a word. Thank you to the thousands of customers. It was a special relationship.”
Her outing comes after her beauty product received backlash from critics and some health experts.
Cameroon’s Minister of public health, Manaouda Malachie in a tweet advised Cameroonians against using the products, though online campaigners were demanding more stringent actions.
