Over a hundred illegal water connections have been dismantled and destroyed by Camwater in Mvan, a neighborhood in Yaounde, Center Region of Cameroon.
The public company responsible for the production and marketing of drinking water carried out the dismantling operation on November 10, 2022.
“The company’s agents proceeded to destroy the false connections, not without inflicting penalties on the offenders,” revealed ActuCameroon.
According to the media platform, the operation is part of the fight against fraud and infrastructure sanitation undertaken by the new director general of Camwater, Blaise Moussa.
Since his appointment, Blaise Moussa has carried out a series of activities to ensure the smooth operation of the enterprise which has often been criticized for its poor services.
