Carnage as soldiers kill three in Bamenda

By Soulemanu Buba

Three persons are reported to have been killed in Bamenda.

One of the victims whose name we got as Fuchi Albert was shot and killed in his vehicle on his way from the market Saturday night.

“He was killed around Azire New Church at the Travelers neighborhood. We can’t say those behind the killing but those around the scene of action say government forces carried out the killing,” said a source familiar with the incident.

We gathered that amongst the three persons killed were two suspected separatist fighters.

They were killed around the Azire Old Church Junction neighborhood in Bamenda.

They were gunned down by soldiers on Saturday May 8, 2022.

The recent lost of lives is coming at a time when night life in Bamenda is becoming more and more dangerous with heavy gunshots animating the atmosphere on a daily basis.
