A Catholic priest by named Labé Evariste Takougang has perished in a ghastly accident in Maleke Mbanga in the Littoral Region of Cameroon.
The incident took place today August 17, 2022.
The priest said to be from the Diocese of Bafoussam was on a journey with another priest when the sad incident occurred.
The Catholic Diocese of Bafoussam confirmed the loss in a release signed by Msgr Zéphirin MOUBE today August 17.
The body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary while the survivor priest was rushed to the hospital where he is battling between life and death.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are however yet to be known.
