Centre Region: Mfoundi SDO prohibits circulation of taxis with tinted windows

The Senior Divisional Officer of Mfoundi, Djikdent Emmanuel Mariel has prohibited the circulation of taxi vehicles with slightly coloured windows.

The information is contained in a release signed by the above-mentioned SDO on August 2, 2023.

In the release, the SDO stated that ” taxis with tinted windows are prohibited from circulation.”

He equally called on the presidents of the urban transport unions and taxi drivers working in the city of Yaoundé to take note that the door number checks will be effective from September 15, 2023.

“To this end, we invite drivers or taxi owners to contact the local Councils for the usual formalities,” he said.
