A woman whose name we got as Marie Mbida Prudence has reportedly killed her two-year-old niece in Abang, in the Centre Region, shortly after she returned from abroad.
MMI learned the police have launched a manhunt against her for reportedly slaughtering the two-year-old.
The little girl has been laid to rest.
The incident has shocked many, who have wondered what could have driven this woman into killing the young child.
The police have sent a public appeal calling on people to report in case anyone spots the woman.
