The Bwassa village has been reduced to ashes.
Bwassa is a village in Buea, in the conflict hit South West Region of Cameroon.

The Chief of the village, Ewome Eko John has said Ambazonian fighters are responsible for the last night’s inferno.
“They burnt down 80% of my house. They forced me, they said their boss said he will give me 20 million France if I have to train them…I am a chief, I am chief of all the people and Cameroonians,” Chief Ewome said.

“I want to tell them that I’m their chief, I will not leave my palace. They should come out, the Head of State His Excellency Paul Biya has called for dialogue and I’m happy that our sons and daughters have been received by Chief Dion Ngute,” he said.
