Congolese President seeks services of Akere Muna

Since pulling out of the 2018 presidential election, Barrister Akere Muna seems to have maintained a low profile and has not been seen in the political sphere.

The battonier has however resurfaced in the limelight. Jeune Afrique reports that the Congolese President, President, Felix Tshisekedi sought the services of the lawyer.

Over the last six months the news outlet reports that the former President of the Bar Association has often been seen in Congo’s capital, Kinshasa.

In addition to heading the International Anti-Corruption Conference Council Barrister Akere is also the Sanctions Commissioner of the African Development Bank Group and a Member of the High-Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa.
