The Female Lions of Cameroon have defeated Zambia 1-0 to qualify for the finals of COSAFA, the Council of Southern Africa Football Competition.
Host nation South African will face the Cameroon senior female national football team at the finals on Saturday. This follows South Africa’s 2- 0 victory over Uganda today.
The tournament bringing together Southern African countries is also a preparatory competition for the lioness for the Women’s African championship to be hosted by Ghana later this year.
