Covid-19: Cameroonians stuck in Dubai can now “return home”

The General Consul of the Republic of Cameroon in the United Arab Emirates has announced a call for registration to Cameroonians who want to be repatriated back to the country.

The consulate notes that interested applicants should get ready to repatriated at their own cost and should come along with some documents including:

-A photocopy of a valid passport or

-A traveling permit and a photocopy of a residence or

-A tourist visa

Deadline for the registration is set for Friday June 19, 2020

Many Cameroonians who travelled to Dubai for business purposes were trapped in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cameroon announced on Monday, that it will resume international flights – but there are 9864 coronavirus cases in the West African nations, and 276 deaths.
