The Cameroon People’s Party, CPP has said it will not be attending predialogue consultations with the Prime Minister, stating that it has sent in its proposals already. The proposals are contain in a release from the party’s Secretary General Franck Essi. They have been handed both electronically and in hard copy.
“We have been presenting proposals regularly for years now without any significant change in the attitude and public policies implemented” it reads.
Some of the main proposals made include a call for diagnosis of the country’s situation and key issues, de-escalation measures to facilitate a real national dialogue and guarantees of implementation of the dialogue resolutions.
“The CPP reaffirms the need for progressive forces with convergent views to build a common action to uphold the supreme interests of the Cameroonian people” the party said.
There should be the will to add by continuing ” to defend without failing the values and principles whose respect will one day make Cameroon … a truly United country. “
