Cesar Ngomo Honoré, a member of the ruling CPDM party has been dragged to court by the Ayah Foundation. The foundation says allegations he made about them moving arms for separatist fighters are false and damaging, the reason for the suit.



Six suspected men are being detained in Yaoundé on suspicion of robbery. The group is accused of breaking into and robbing the Messa Presbyterian Church. An investigation is ongoing.


In a similar operation in Nkongsamba, West region, Gendarmes have arrested and detained burglars picked up after a three-day operation. The detained are accused of having broken into several houses in the town of Nkongsamba, making away with valuables and money.


A search is ongoing in Mbouda, West region for a nursing mother who abandoned her baby. The baby was today discovered abandoned in a carton and rushed to a health facility. Persons of goodwill are catering for the kid at the moment.


Five victims of the Ekondo Titi school shooting have been laid to rest. They were buried today after a solemn ceremony. The deceased kids were some of the other victims hurt by separatist fighters who stormed their school and detonated a locally made bomb before opening fire.


Many Cameroonians have urged the powers that be to step on and regulate soaring prices during this festive period. Most business persons, they say, are selling their goods and services at cut-throat prices, worsening the already difficult economic situation.


The Yaounde City Council has voted a 35 billion FCFA budget for 2022. The city council voted on the said budget during its council session yesterday. The figure has witnessed a three billion increment from the 2021 budget.
