Many continue to mourn popular Cameroonian Artist, Mbonjem Lesley aka Fhish who died in a car crash along the Douala-Buea road last night. The musician died together with his manager in the car as they drove for a show in Buea.


Many are also mourning Fhish’s manager, Nadum Feka Parchibell who too was an activist and humanitarian. Aged 44, she is survived by her three children. Her family members arrived Tiko this evening but are yet to comment on the incident.


The Public Health Ministry has received a donation from UNICEF to aid the fight against the transmission of HIV/AIDS from mother to child. Among other things offered were: 47 vehicles, 55 motorcycles, 50 Point of Care Equipment, and much more.


At least 2 persons have died in a road accident today in Yonkole, Maroua in the Far North Region. The tragedy occurred as two speeding motorbikes collided with each other, killing one bike rider and a passenger on the spot.


Many persons are making last-minute preparations for this year’s feast of nativity, Christmas. Many have however raised worries over the high prices of basic commodities that has reduced their purchasing power.


Residents of major towns nationwide have also stepped up vigilance as the year draws to an end. This is as the period is usually marked by a rise in insecurity and theft.

Buses that will be transporting teams to and from stadiums have already landed in Cameroon ahead of the AFCON. The tournament begins in less than 20 days with a kick-off game between Cameroon and Burkina Faso at the Olembe Football Stadium on January 9, 2022.
