The Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam has announced the death of the Lamido of Sabga in Kedjom Ketinguh, Tubah SubDivision. According to the release read over CRTV Bamenda today, Mallam Mamudu Sabga Abdullaih passed on earlier today.

Reports from Ngoketunja Division and Bui Divisions say a military raid in the area to fish out separatist fighters is underway. Locals are indoors and it’s feared separatist and military confrontations might lead to civilian casualties.


Sultan Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya of Bamoun has passed away today in Paris, France. He died at the age of 83 after allegedly suffering from COVID-19.

At least one person has died today in Mutengene in a fatal road accident. The collision between a 19-seater bus and a stationed truck occurred in the morning around the Mutengene Roundabout.
