Decomposed body of Missing UBa Final Year Student found

By Timfuchi Aaron

The lifeless body of final year student of the Higher Institute of Commerce and Management of the University of Bamenda, UBa has been found.

The student whose name we got as Daouda Musa was declared missing on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

His lifeless body was found in a stream along with the Mbengwi road neighborhood.

Daouda Musa was returning to Bamenda on his bike from his native village, Njikwa when he suddenly went missing and didn’t return home.

“Separatists attacked the area around Mbengwi where he disappeared a few days ago killing a driver… the fear of not seeing him alive has become reality. It seems almost impossible now to find missing people alive or unharmed,” narrated a family member who launched a missing-person alert last week.

After searching tirelessly for Daouda, they received a call Sunday, April 10 from security forces who said they had seen him, our source told us.

Daouda Musa has been buried according to the muslim tradition. He was laid to rest at the public cemetery.

It should be noted that Daouda Musa went missing on the same day that separatist fighters intercepted a car along the Bamenda-Mbengwi road by separatist fighters and the driver was killed.
