Aroufatou, a 22-year-old house help is reported to have stolen 10 Million Franc CFA belonging to her and taken to her heels.
It is reported that on Friday, March 17, 2023, the owners of the house embarked on a journey, leaving the young girl behind to take care of the children.
On Sunday, the couple returned home to realize that their money, said to be in a foreign currency, and the house girl were nowhere to be found.
According to the children, the house help left the house on the same Sunday that the couple was expected to return from their journey.
Shocked by the incident, the man of the house collapsed and was rushed to a nearby medical facility where he is currently receiving medical attention.
