All Muslim faithfuls at Douala 4 (Bonaberi)- Wouri division in the Littoral region will henceforth pray to ‘Allah’ during this period of fasting in their homes.
This is an instruction from the Divisional Officer of Douala 4 to Muslim leaders in the area today Friday April 24th in a meeting . According to the D.O. Issa Daouda, “all Churches and Mosques should remain close until further notice. We have noticed that people don’t respect social distancing when they open these worship places. The decision is final and defaulters will face the music of the law”.
Despite justifications to why they ( Moslims) have you been use theirs Mosques during this time, the decision stands. The D.O. has promised to make sure that the decision is respected.
Note that Churches and Mosques have not been completely shutdown in five other sub divisions in Wouri Division of the Littoral region.
