Douala: Girl among 15-member gang arrested for drug trafficking

A 28-year-old girl has been nabbed alongside 14 other members of her gang at the Brazzaville neighborhood in Douala for illicit drug trafficking.

The group was presented before the press on September 21, 2021. The group, aged between 19 to 40 were specialised in the trafficking of cocaine and marijuana amongst other things.

They were tracked down by the police and arrested in possession of 5 bags of Marijuana, cocaine and other hard drugs together with a motor bike, which they use to distribute their products.

Law enforcement agents have reiterated their stance against trafficking and consumption of illicit drugs in Cameroon. The police has vowed to go extra lengths to fight all forms of trafficking, and have implored on citizens to collaborate with them to stamp out the illegal activity.
