Douala: Man disguises as woman, steals gaz bottle

A man, disguised as a woman has been caught by the population after attempting to steal a gaz bottle from a private home in Bonaberi, Douala.

The incident took place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Dressed in ‘Kaba’, the thieve was able to gain access into the home where he got hold of a gaz bottle.

“He wore a wig and put on a Kaba so people would think he was a woman, and not raise any alarm,” a source said.

But he was later captured and beaten by the population as he attempted to escape with the gaz bottle.
