A security guard at Sawa Hotel in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon has been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment today February 8, 2023, after he was stabbed by a woman while on duty.
According to sources, the woman approached the gate and attempted to enter the hotel when she was stopped by the security guard.
After being denied access into the building, the woman reportedly pulled out a dagger with a red handle, with which she stabbed the guard.
The dramatic incident occurred at the time when the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training was at the Sawa Hotel where he held a meeting with the human resource managers of foreign private companies established in Cameroon.
The injured guard was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The lady’s motives remain unclear, pending investigation.
