Cameroonian-born Pro-democracy advocate, Dr Christopher Fomunyoh is partaking in the monitoring of the governorship election in Nigeria’s Osun state.
The Senior Associate for and Regional Director for Africa at the Washington DC based National Democratic Institute (NDI) is among many other observers taking part in the said process.
This is thanks to a combined initiative with the International Republican Institute.
The elections are a crucial process, given that they come up just shortly before Nigeria’s Presidential elections
With the presidential election set for 2023, a replacement for President Buhari will be known.
Buhari has served his terms.
The NDI’s Dr Christopher Fomunyoh it should be recalled, remains a big name in the domain of democravy and good governance.
