Dr. Sako promises more resistance, no election in Anglophone regions come 2020

Samuel Ikome Sako in his end of year address has promised to intensify the fight against Cameroon’s armed forces in the Anglophone regions of the country.
In his end of year address moments ago, the Ambazonian interim government President said he and his people “are the never again generation”.
“Regardless of what happens, I will never dissapoint Ambazonia’s expectations of total and unconditional independence” he went on.

Also in the address, Sako reiterated nomination of Dr Abongwa Harrison as VP of the Interim Government adding that all previous appointees maintain their different posts of responsibility.
He also mentioned the instituting of November 30 as a day for the commemoration of Ambazonian fighters on ground zero.
He went ahead to list what he said were achievements for the past 18 months. They included picking up arms in “self defense” against Cameroon armed forces, the spread of the armed resistance from Mamfe to the 13 counties of the former Southern Cameroon counties and the creation of Ambazonia TV.
To Sako, their actions also caused Cameroon to lose about 1000 billion FCFA.

“About 400 of our villages so far have been burned including properties. About 106 of our sick ones including babies and the old and weak have been brutally roasted in their homes during these burning sprees. This is how barbaric it gets!” said Sako.
He explained that the infighting on Social Media at this stage “is no longer because of some mere misunderstanding as some of us thought before. It is the veiled promotion of a political agenda by a few who secretly belong to the other side of the isles pressing for a different outcome by stopping this”.

The vision for the future he concluded is “to promote purposeful unity and collaboration amongst the core leadership of our liberation struggle so we can cross the finish line in record time together”.

Sako’s declaration comes a few moments ahead of that President Biya’s which among other things is expected to tackle the Anglophone crisis and the armed battles. Gunshots were heard in some part of the North West region, during his speech.
