Besides poor infrastructure and football gadgets, some players of professional football championships in Cameroon sometimes go for months without salaries. Owners of football clubs blame the football governing body and the government for limited financial resources to improve the well being of players.
With all these, some football experts say it has a spillover effect on the performance of players in Cameroon when competing with others in other countries where local football is given due attention.
