Explosive devices have been discovered and seized by a Commercial Brigade in the Adamawa region.
The dangerous items were seized Wednesday at about 5:30 pm at Boudjoukoura entry point in Ngaoundere.
The merchandise, when seized were referred to by the transporters as ‘personal gears for a wedding’.
It was after a careful search that the controllers discovered it was actually 45 aluminum tubes, which composed the explosive devices.
The authorities ensured that security monitoring in addition to tax missions is more effective than ever in the Adamawa customs sector.
The seizure report was signed and the cargo made available to Banyo custom officials.
The senior customs officials of the Adamawa sector headed by Jean-Marie Toukam will follow up on this seizure.
