Eye care workers drawn from some Baptist, Catholic Hospitals and the Regional Hospital in Bamenda have deliberated on “Barriers to Access Eye care Services in Health Facilities”.
This was during a one-day workshop organized by the Inclusive Eye Health Project of the CBC Health Services on September 8, 2021, at the Baptist Center Nkwen, Bamenda.
During the workshop, infrastructural problems,
communication and poverty were some of the barriers highlighted.
The workshop was aimed at building the capacities of participants on providing inclusive eye care services .
During the workshop, participants mapped out strategies which will facilitate access to their services for everyone.
The Inclusive Eye Health Project is implemented by the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services with support from CBM.
