Presidential candidate Ateki Seta Caxton has appointed vibrant political activist, Fabrice Lena, CEO of the political movement Na Wa Future, as his executive campaign manager for the 2025 election.

Lena has proven his worth as a force to reckon with since and after Mr. Ateki was validated as a candidate in this year’s presidential election scheduled for October 12.

Speaking to MMI, Fabrice Lena said he is not a novice in Cameroon’s political field. To him, Mr. Ateki is the right man for the job at the Unity Palace.

“I have the political experience to drive his messages through,” he stated.

Before and during pre-campaign meetings in Bamenda, Buea, and Monatele, Lena has been by Ateki’s side, ensuring guidance and engagement with voters.

“I believe this appointment came following my work in the field recently,” he said.

Through Na Wa Future, Lena has spent over four years ensuring voter registration. He also served as Secretary General of the People’s Action Party before resigning.

His track record within the political arena prompted a unanimous decision from Ateki’s team to position him as executive campaign manager.

Recently, Lena represented his candidate during a meeting with ELECAM, Cameroon’s election management body, where he called for fairness and accountability.

His concerns stem from what he described as unequal security measures for political parties.

“What is the role of ELECAM as the referee in this election?” Lena questioned.
To him, there should be level ground for all parties.

PAL Undecided About Attending Meeting to Endorse Tchiroma

MMI also learned that PAL, the party Ateki represents, is monitoring developments after the Union for Change endorsed Issa Tchiroma.

Ateki’s camp is not endorsing any candidate for now but is closely following the unfolding events.

“We need to be sure and certain about who can bring victory. There are a lot of polemics around this issue,” Lena told MMI.
