Today is an emotional day for the Kukuru family in Limbe, as they burry two of their daughters, Kukuru Zuriel Fri and Kukuru Milcah Kieng, killed in the ghastly car accident that occurred at Moliwe last Friday.
Based on a burial program released by the family, the two children will be removed from the Limbe Regional Hospital mortuary at 10:30am today, and entombed 1:30pm at the family home in Mutengene, Tiko Subdivision.
Remi Kukuru, a family member, earlier announced that one of their daughters, Kukuru Tizarh, who survived the accident, was hospitalized at the intensive care unit of the Limbe Regional Hospital.
The deceased Zuriel, 2, and Milcah, 13, were among six people who died when a sand truck collided head-on with a 19-seater bus along the Limbe-Mutengene road.
20 students were involved in the accident, three on which died alongside three ordinary people.
The accident was blamed on a brake failure on the part of the sand truck.
