The family of Collete, a customs officer killed by her Boyfriend some months ago have now decided to exhume the corpse of their daughter for a proper funeral.

The family members of the deceased say they thought it wise to give their daughter the honor of a respectable departure as opposed to how she was wrapped and hurried in a bush by sanitation workers in Mbanga.

Reports have it that Collette’s boyfriend, Suh Kenneth, a BIR officer, killed her after she allegedly called off their 7-year-old relationship. She had found out that Kenneth was living a double life as he had been married and had kids, which Collette knew nothing about.

Being the successful woman that she had become, Collette had many properties such as lands and houses, some of which she registered under Kenneth’s name, which she threatened to take back after they break up.

It was with this in mind that Suh Kenneth planned her death by killing Collette in Mbanga on her return from Cotonou. Sanitation workers discovered Collette’s corpse in an advanced state of decomposition. The corpse was hurriedly buried without the knowledge of the decease’s family.

Kenneth is currently under detention for his crime. Family members of the deceased say they are bent on getting justice.
