Louis Paul Motaze, Cameroon’s Minister of Finance has instructed the immediate closure of these companies who especially have indulged in illicit fundraising without legal approval from the state.
The companies have been instructed to refund customers funds under penalty of legal investments.
These 17 companies officially banned in a press release by the finance minister on October 29 are: Academy of African Investors (AAA), Global Investment Trading (GIT), Global Crypto Currency Trading, GTX Invest Global Trusted Exchange, Sogaa Sarl, Petronpay Cameroon, Mekit Invest, Unique Finance, Fortune Investment and Wealth, Crifat, Highlife International Cameroon, Sairiu, Revel Cameroon, Cameroon Invest, Mougano Investment, Obassi Communication, Diviner’s Auto Electronic and Africa’Lif.
The Ministry of Finance has drawn the attention of potential public and economic investors on the risk of losing their investments in these companies.
Minister Louis Paul Motaze has equally instructed these finance companies to immediately cease their fundraising operations and make it public to its customers via various media.
