A fire accident has destroyed a makeshift wooden structure in the town of Loum, Moungo Division of the Littoral Region.
The ravaged structure was serving as a business Joint for a dealer in motorcycle parts, and as a residence.
Reports say the fire reportedly started from the motorcycle store, before spreading.
The store had been reportedly given to him to use for a while before the unfortunate incident.
The fire equally spread to the nearby room, which housed an Internally Displaced Person, who had escaped war from the anglophone regions.
The population could do very little to save the structure and other properties within it.
The fire fighting brigade was equally alerted, but as always, they arrived too late.
Most disturbing too according to reports is the fact that the fire incident happened amidst a massive downpour of rain, which sadly though was not enough to put the fire off.
